# - Argentina - Bolivia - Border Crossing

This is a snip-it of what I sent to my Mum regarding Sunday the 13th June.
Caught an early morning bus to the border, note, you must get a departure stamp from the exiting country prior to entering a new one. So after a few laps around we were in Bolivia.
We then lugged our packs up the giant hill to the bus depot. I´m kind of over it by this point. The bus to our next destination is at 2pm we have just wound our clocks back to 11am so we have a little time to kill.
Lunch time... like most other days a stale ham, cheese and tomato roll.
We then went to lay in the park. Still have loads of time to kill. Oh and what do you know a drunk Bolivian man wants to befriend us. I have no idea what he is saying but he keeps touching my leg. I kind of dont care about the leg touching but am clinging on to all my possessions. After about 20 mins I can no longer handle him and we move.
So now it is time to catch the bus. We were haggled at the bus stop and ended up on the al budget one. Not a good idea. I feared for my life!!!! The bus driver was crazy, he sped so fast overtaking other buses and screaming around the corners. I held on for dear life and had my pretend foot on the break just like mum does when anyone else is driving.
We made it safe and sound after two thrill seeking hours. Again we arrived at our destination with no accommodation and no map of the town. But we made it.

# - Humahuaca - Argentina -11th - 13th June
Whilst it was for only two nights in what appeared to be a Mexican themed cabin the tranquility of the town was like no other.
Although the bottom picture is blurred this was me trying to capture the three cowboys that rode past us whilst we searched for our North Argentinian folk class.
